How to Get Rid of Blackheads
Only a person who has undergone through the never ending problem or is presently undergoing through the problem of blackheads can clearly specify the anguish feeling felt while carrying it on the nose. The most embarrassing moment follows when someone dear to you ignore you just because that person carries the black spots of blackheads on the nose. In severe cases the problem of blackheads may also extend to other parts of body apart from the nose. These parts are ‘face’, ‘back’ and ‘shoulder’. The worst thing about this problem is that even if an individual undergoes the world’s best treatment including costly creams, high profile doctors, and also different types of laser treatments to remove the blackheads, the result at the end of the day is that the problem returns back on the same part and you are again forced to follow these temporary procedures to again remove it.
The problem actually happens only on a peculiar type of skin found in around 50 % of the population. In these 50% of the population the skin is oily by birth. Due to this oily skin the capacity of the skin to catch on the blackheads is more than any other normal individual. Basically the problem of blackheads revolves around a micro organism called as ‘Propionibacterium Acnes’. This micro organism is a ‘bacteria’ that lives on the human skin. Normally this micro organism does not cause any problem but the problem of blackheads arises when this micro organism gets into the ‘pores’ or ‘hair follicles’.
Therefore finally we can conclude that the basic factors leading to the problem of blackheads is a combination of oily skin and the micro organism ‘Propionibacterium Acnes’. In the human skin special type of glands are present that are responsible for releasing the ‘sebum’ oil like substance. This secretion is an advantage for human but when the cells lining the ‘sebum gland’ it self plugs out the ‘hair’ the micro organism ‘Propionibacterium Acnes’ gains easy access to the interior portion of the hole where the ‘hair follicle’ was plugged in. As the micro organism enters into the hole an anti – inflammatory reaction follows where a number of leukocytes get released to counter the entry of micro organism. This inflammatory reaction finally results into the spread of infection in the area present around that region. This is the reason which causes the blackheads on the human skin.
The onset of the inflammatory reaction apart from the above mentioned reason may also take because of the following mentioned reasons:-
- Hormonal problems - A slight change in the level of hormones in the body stimulates the ‘sebum gland’ to release the oily substance in abnormal proportions. This leads to blackheads.
- The ever changing environment and global warming.
- Oily substances released out from the cosmetic products used to make the face look pleasant without releasing the damage it may cause to your face in terms of the origin of blackheads.
